I’ve been pretty busy with the layout recently so haven’t had too much time to work on instructions, but I’m slowly clearing some of the backlog and the next build I want to share is my tender engine, built in a similar style to complement the ladder truck.
As with the previous model, this uses a couple of chrome pieces from the 5599-1 Radio Control Racer set from 2001. They can be replaced with light grey pieces if needed.
Again because of the limitations of Stud.io, I wasn’t able to wrap string round the reel for the hose. The nozzle is included to make the piece count accurate, but the “real life” version uses the same combined yellow nozzle and string piece as the ladder truck.
