Model six in the machine shop series is the biggest of the lot so far, at nearly double the piece and step count of the lathe. It’s a big gear cutter based loosely on the Fellows 6A model recommended by a member of the Practical Machinist forums.
This is a big machine, combining a lot of the techniques from my earlier models. There’s a few places where bars have to be threaded through bricks for stability, and you’ll also need to separate another steering wheel piece. Once built, its very solid.
If you’d like to build this model, there’s full PDF and parts list here or you can now find the instructions for this and my other machine tool models on Rebrickable.
And don’t forget, I post updates most days over on my Instagram @nwbricks.
