It’s been ages since I last updated this blog and a lot has changed on the layout since then. One of the things I’m most proud of is the two modular basements I built to go under the bank and detectives office. I was working on them around this time last year (March/April 2021) during lockdown and had a lot of fun figuring out the mechanisms.
Of all the things I’ve built, that little folding pool table is up there with my favourite. The bank vault isn’t quite as complicated with just the vault door opening, but was still an interesting problem to solve to keep it from sagging with repeated use. As I write this I’m waiting on some light kits to arrive, because the one downside to these models is they are really hard to see when they’re installed.
